Music at St George's

We have a strong musical tradition at St George's.

The Junior Georgians choir sings on occasional Sundays in the year.

·         for boys and girls aged 7-12

·         rehearsals are free and fun!

·         three 45-minute rehearsals in the weekends before a service

·         warm-ups, games, quizzes and snacks as well as preparing the music.

·         Services include Mothering Sunday, Music Sunday (July), Harvest and the Crib Service on Christmas Eve.

The Georgians is our mixed voice adult choir.

·         The choir traditionally sings on Easter Day and Carols by Candlelight on the Sunday before Christmas, and on other Sundays, such as Advent Sunday or Remembrance Day.

·         Every year the choir sings a Choral Evensong service on a summer Sunday evening

       The choir is known as a friendly and sociable group, and rehearsals and services are        always joyful!
