Missions & Charities

In keeping with our calling to 'Make Jesus Known', besides our own ministry, St George's actively supports a number of missions and charities at work in local, national and international fields such as Home Start Kennet, the Church Urban Fund and the Church Mission Society.

There are three elements to our support: 

(1)  financial, both by regular contributions ( which are reviewed annually) and by special collections;  

(2) spreading information and interest through publicity displays and occasional visiting speakers who have something interesting to say about their work;  

(3)  prayer, both individual commitment and corporate intercessions.

We would welcome suggestions for opportunities for development of  'links' with specific mission partners or creation of dedicated support groups.
