Giving

In Jesus' most famous sermon He gave his followers guidance about praying, fasting and giving. All three were commended as a normal part of a Christian's life.

People give to God, through his church, in various ways. Some give that most precious commodity - time; others lend their considerable talents; and yet others offer of their treasure. We are very grateful for gifts of any variety.

St Mary's has an exciting mission and ministry in Marlborough, which costs about £125,000 per year.

If you would like to give financially to St Mary's two things really help:
1) please give regularly so we can plan; 
2) please give under gift aid as this adds 25p to every £1 you give if you're a taxpayer.

The parish giving scheme can organise both things for you. Simply call to 0333 002 1271 and they will set up a direct debit and enable gift aid over the phone. St Mary's parish code is 340 634 561. Alternatively both can be set up manually with a banker's order and a gift aid form.

Should you wish to make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to 'PCC St Mary's Church' and until we return to service collections please either pop it in the wall safe in the church or post it to Treasurer St Mary's Church, c/o The Team Office, Church Cottage, Silverless Street, Marlborough SN8 1JQ.
